Last week, we were invited to participate in the online launch of a new initiative to connect the many community tapestry projects designed by Andrew Crummy in recent years.

The trail was to be launched on 4 December with a special event held on Facebook, featuring live streams from a number of museums and projects around the country including the Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels and the V&A in Dundee… and of course the place where it all began, here in Prestonpans.

Our own contribution included a live interview with stitcher Margaret McCabe, who is also one of our much-treasured museum volunteers, who talked about what Panel 80 of the Prestonpans Tapestry means to here.
