The skirl of the pipes and the beat of the drums will return to Prestonpans next year, as the Trust prepares for its triennial partnership with the Scottish Battlefields Trust in hosting a spectacular weekend of re-enactments.
The Trust’s programmes of re-enactments have grown in scope and scale since our first event in 2007, and the 2018 event was truly memorable (despite the coastal gale attempting to pull down the encampments overnight)!
We are very excited to be preparing for the next round of re-enactments, which will take place on 18-19 September 2021. Put the date in your diary!
