Our first exhibition of 2025 celebrates stories of music, dance and song found within the panels of the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry.
From Robert Burns to Walzing Matilda, from Highland dancing to Paolo Nutini, this vibrant set of panels takes us from the fields of Ayrshire to the mountains of Norway and the wonders of Down Under.
Accompanying the main exhibition is a display of 19th century collections of song and poetry relating to the Battle of Prestonpans, demonstrating the battle’s continuing cultural legacy.
Auld Lang Syne runs in our Jubilee Room until the beginning of April.
