Here’s our amazing team of museum volunteers, raising a glass to wish a Merry Christmas to all our friends, followers and visitors.
On behalf of the volunteers and the trustees, I’d like to say a huge “thank you” for all your support over the past year.
What can we look forward to next year, I hear you ask?
Our doors open again on Saturday 11 January – Colonel Gardiner’s birthday – with a free illustrated talk by curator Arran Johnston:
280th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BATTLE:
from a new community crafting project to special events and exhibitions, there’ll be lots to look forward to as we mark this milestone anniversary throughout the year.
BEYOND THE BATTLE:
Our research project continues, so expect talks, walks and vlogs as we seek an unprecedented understanding of this community in 1745.
PRESTONPANS TAPESTRY’S 15th BIRTHDAY:
We’ll be celebrating 15 years of the amazing Prestonpans Tapestry, including a display of ALL its panels!
